Soft Citrus Notes with Apricot and White Strawberry with a Long Juniper Finish
Las Nubes always offers a denser and richer profile compared to the elegant clarity of neighboring Las Nieves. Densely planted with just enough Catimor to complement the Pacas, this iconic coffee accentu- ates its richly fruited character through an innovative anaerobic fermentation process. Nubes is an amazing study in terroir and style as one of two twin grand crus of El Cedral and Santa Barbara.
Alexi Moreno and his brother Milton were the very first producer relationships for Saint Frank when our partner Benjamin Paz intuitively matched our young startups together. Initially each brother combined their productions just to create one nanolot. Now Las Nubes is a brilliant story of the possibilities in coffee through relational quality driven coffee trading. Over the years Alexis has humbled us with a renewing dedication to excellence and to us from replanting projects to new processing endeavours all empowered by our mutual commitment. The shared sacrifices with Alexis and the incredible fruits from that relationship are a spring of joy for Saint Frank inspiring our work in crafting everyday extraordinary coffee for you.
