Honduras Los Hermanos 40% |
Anael has been a faithful partner of ours for a nearly a decade managing his own coffee as well as his sister, Reyna, and his brother, Edwin. We've historically served this coffee as "Los Hermanos" as a combined sibling presentation. Anael has guided all of their farms through disease crisis and now into new plantings with a concentration of the popular Parainema variety. Anael’s quiet and humble perseverance is an honor to behold, as is his literal horse whispering and harmonious relationship with all the animals around his farm. Typically these coffees are softer and rounder but the Parainema offers brighter fruit cocktail experience. |
Honduras Álvaro Pineda 40% |
Álvaro Pineda grew up working on a coffee farm with his father. After overcoming challenges like low market prices, a temporary move to bricklaying, and losing crops to Roya in 2011, he restarted his farm in 2017 with resistant Parainema coffee and began producing specialty micro-lots. |
